Jungle Life

So I guess the kittens are now trying to see just how high they can climb or at least are trying to find a decent spot to look down at us from.  Here is Frankie (on top) and Dolly going from a stand to the folded up treadmill.

Here's Dolly looking down at Frankie who slid down the treadmill when he lost his footing.

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand here is Dolly who didn't quite make it to the top of the curtain rod like she was trying for.  Keep trying Dolly. Keep trying to reach for those stars.

Happy Go Lucky

Here's an update on the little kitty we were calling Choco Cat. He's been renamed Lucky by his new owners. He's doing well in his new digs. He looks kinda like a tarsier here doesn't he with his biiiiig eyes??

This is a tarsier just incase you didn't know what they were. Cute little monkey guys.

I like watching a bit of TV..it facinates me.

                             The view sometimes isn't close enough so I like to climb to get a better view....

The perch puts me more at the level of the television so I can check out all the action, the drama, the romance....

But sometimes the action can be a little loud with the booms and stuff so I'll sit under the television until it quiets down again....

Except for Friday nights...that's Movie night and the Chiller Channel is on...then I hide behind the ottoman and under the blankie, peeking out behind the curtains making sure the zombies aren't coming to get me.

 Here lies Dolly, the huntress in training...locking on her target.  Ever so quiet, blending in with the background so as not to scare off the prey....           waiting......             waiting....

The Last Little Kitten Caught

This is the last little one we caught over a week ago.  She's currently being fostered at Debby's.  The kitty wants to play with the older cats but the older cats keep running away.  Poor little girl.  She needs some serious play time. She's probably about 7 going on 8 weeks old now.  Had her first round of shots, dewormed as a precaution and flea free.  Anyone interested or knows of someone who might be, please pass on this website and contact me.

Funtime Disney Style

Today we are going to have a little story for your entertainment. It has an evil character, an evil despot who rules with an iron fist...

Evil Dita...(Dum Dum Dum Duuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuum).... she enslaves all little kittens to do her bidding. Fetching her toys, feeding her fresh fish, scoring her some catnip from the rough parts of town and fanning her with feathers plucked from the cardinals outside.

Then at the end of the day...when the kittens are exhausted...they huddle up, behind an old couch that Dita would find disgusting and would never come near so they might be able to sleep in peace..

but the little area behind the couch is even too small for a kitten, so they have to pile up ontop of each other, with only their own fur to keep them warm... (sad isn't it?)

They lie there dreaming of sweet treats to eat, warm milk and warm beds to one day lie in. (little Frankie seems to be chewing on Johnny's foot) ..who...who will save these little babies from the evil overload known as Dita?? WHO WILL COME TO THEIR RESCUE??!!

Who is that in the distance?? Could it be?? Is it really.....wait!! It is!! OMG it's..IT'S...

CRAVEN!!!! Who was totally not paying attention to the story and basically just said "What? I just live here". 

Moral of story - Please adopt the kittens before Dita enslaves them.
