Feelin the Love

We're feeling the love here today. We've named the little princess "Peek-a-Boo" and she's back from the vet and now resting comfortably at Debby's house. Her potential owners will be coming down on Sunday to visit and see if Peek-a-Boo will fit into their family.  Keep your fingers crossed.

In the meantime, I'm trying to force Craven into wearing his pink frilly love necklace but he's not having it. So I guess its just me for now.  Oh well, more treats for me!

Name Needed For Our Newest Catch

This little princess is a doll.  Everyone that has come across her absolutely loves her.  She is extremely friendly but is definately a talker.  She has somehow managed to claim the tree outside my apartment as her own.  Big Tom lets her eat with him and all the other cats stay away.  Tom is obviously the father as well.  She also lets you pet her. If you sit still, she walk around you and brush up against you several times while going in a circle.  She's soo funny.  Debby and I have started calling her Hitch's twin but she needs a better name.  Anyone have a suggestion? She's headed off for fixing tomorrow.

She's so adorable.  I let her out of the cage a little to walk around get some petting in.  She isn't bad about me putting her back in there either.  She's going to make some family really happy.  I think she'll be great with kids too since she's so friendly. Here's hoping the people we have in mind for her takes her!

That Wonderful Time of Year Again

Its that wonderful time of year again where there are soo many things to play with. First its the wonderful tree that gets put out just for me.  There are all of these nice shiny things on there as well. I get to take my time, plucking and batting each one off one by one daily.  Then there are the dozens of boxes under the tree that have bits of shiny string and lots of paper for me to play with.  I have to wear a coat from time to time and called "Satan" sorry.. "Santa" Cat.  There's a night where food & milk are left out under the tree for me.  I especially enjoy that.  I don't know why my human constantly shrieks when she walks back in the apartment every day from the time the tree goes up to the sad day when it goes down. I'm thinking she is really excited to see me playing with all the toys she puts out for me.  I think my favorite part is being able to get to those hard to reach places between my back teeth with the bristles on the branches.  I wish she'd leave the tree out all year.  Although Dita seems to think its a tree that needs to be watered.  Hmm..wonder what kind of coat Dita will have to wear as I'm sure the clicky thing will be broken out again. It's been a few days since I last saw that thing.  Well, time to go play with some more shiny things!

She Got Me

It's been a while since the last post.  I've been slowly getting my dignity back.  I've said before, never, never play dead.  Makes it all the easier to get these things on you.  As you can see, I have fallen victim once again to this crazy thing called Halloween.
My litter mate, Craven was given Angel wings.  We were made to stand guard at the glass door.  We were in charge of the candy.  Oh what a horrible horrible day.  I've since gotten my revenge with the bathroom rugs and Craven is creating some type of sculpture out of the coffee table legs.  See? Nice piece of work right there.  He's into whittling wood.  Can't wait til its finished.

Breaking Out The Suitcases

I suppose you wonder why I'm sitting in a suitcase like I'm getting ready to go somewhere.  Well my friends, good news once again, Cali and Hitch have both found happy homes.  Cali will be making her way out tomorrow night to her new home.  Hitch also seems to have a new home but we aren't sure which house he's going to yet.  There are two options apparently but he seems to be taken. We are so grateful for these guys finding homes.  Now I can keep my kitty condo and not feel guilty about it.
