Kitties Going Condo

We decided to see if we could put a stop to the cardboard massacres by turning one into a little house. Not pictured are the two windows on either side of the box.  A cute front door and a hanging ball with a bell in it from the ceiling.  I moved into it for the night to see if it passed inspection.  Very comfy. Started moving in some of my things already.  Now if I can put the door back up to keep the kittens out, that would be great! - Craven

Who Wants Pizza?

 The Box Bandit strikes again.  This time stealing a pizza box from top of the counter and sliding it into their green room to play and roll around on the box.  Tonight we will be making a house out of a larger box for everyone to see if the madness stops with the stealing of random cardboard objects.

The Apartment Life - A Tail of 2 Kitties

Brie & Nikki recently moved with their `rent to a swanky new apartment.  As you can see here, Brie is taking in the new view.

Nikki, on the other hand, seems to be holding down the fort making sure everything is being put in its proper place.  Hope the movers didn't misplace any of her things.

Innocent Until Proven Guilty

They say all criminals return to the scene of the crime to either admire their handiwork or to do it again.  Still trying to figure out if she got bored halfway through or if she's pretending to be asleep so she doesn't get into trouble.  Looks like Dolly will be serving a time out soon.

No Box Is Safe

The Crime scene is currently being taped off and an investigation is under way.  The victim, a snack tray standing innocently upright in it's box.  Several clues have been left behind such as a piece of fur, a piece of what seems to be cat food and a pair of eyes peeping from behind a chair.  More details at 11:00pm.

Hello World!

Please give a happy catnip welcome to our newest friend Ernie.  He is Brie's new brother from another mother.  Congrats Jen on your new bundle of joy!

Newest Little One Saved!

Say Hello to this little guy. I keep calling him Jenkins and Gale calls him Goobers.  He had some pretty big sized eye boogers on his face.  Gale scooped him right up out of a storm drain outside.  He's really tiny.  Look at the size of the phone next to his head!

Here he is in his carrier before he started warming up.  We wrapped him in a towel to clean out his eyes. They were pretty goopy.  He enjoyed the warm towel and ate his food from a spoon.  Captive for less then an hour and he's already spoiled.  He is going to the SPCA tomorrow where they will clean him up and work with him on getting him adopted.  Way to go Gale! Now we just gotta catch his momma and hopefully no more little kitties for a while.
