Experimental Playtime Outside...Short lived

We tried a little experiment with the 3 kitties. We opened the sliding doors to see if the little guys wanted to go outside and be outdoor kitties or stay indoors as pets.  At first Frankie & Johnny went out on the balcony and checked out some leaves.

Then Johnny went to the otherside of the balcony behind some bushes checking to see if anyone was going to follow.  But as the weather turned cold and the kitties couldn't convince Dolly to go outside with them, they headed back indoors.

Back to their favorite spot.  The couch.  Later after their nap, they went to their toy box and pulled out their mice, balls, and bells and played for hours. Hmmm..guess they aren't so dumb after all.

How To Tell If Your Cat Is On "The Nip"

Dita here saying to you, just say "No" to the Nip.

Kitties Plus Decorations = Heartbreak

Look at these guys. So cute, so innocent...so crafty in their evil ways.  The happy trio who "allegedly"* tore apart an innocent peacock in its prime.  The bird was happily nesting in a cardboard box just waiting to be perched on a Christmas tree.
Sadly, some curious kittens managed to pull the bird out of the box without opening the box top either.  We'll call this Exibit A. The box that wasn't quite opened so how the hell did they even know the bird was in there??

This is Exhibit B. The mangled mess of what was once a very beautiful looking ornament.  I guess Dita & I will need to sit down and have a little chat about Santa not visiting bad little kitties.

Halloween in December

Aye...she gots me again this yar.  It's been a few months since the last post. I apologize for that. I've been drowning my sorrows in my warm milk trying to get over the indignity that is Halloween.  At least I am not alone.  Dita put up a good fight with her Madame Butterfly outfit.
The front. She looks thrilled.
The view from the top. She was not too pleased with the doodle bobbers on her head.  Not much candy got passed out this year.

Rusty send us his lovely photo and made a much better pirate.
Now that's a fancy hat me matey.
