Saturday Night Playtime

The kittens have decided they want to play in the living room now.  Johnny, above, is now king of all he sees.

Dolly is still likes to watch from a distance before deciding if she wants to come closer to play.

She finally makes her decision and joins Frankie in playing with the mousie on a string.

Frankie letting the mouse know what he thinks of him.

These babies are adjusting pretty well and would make a fine addition to anyone's home.  They are all still up for adoption if anyone is interested.

It's a Boy!!

Found out today this little guy is a boy. We were calling him Chocolate because he is so sweet.  Also because the person we were talking to has the last name Chocolate and we were trying to convince her this is the cat for her.  No dice.  Anyways, this little fella needs a good home and fast. He's very loving, likes to be held and just nestles onto your shoulder saying "take me with you". He has had his first round of shots, got a bath today and had gotten his flea medicine & dewormed as a precaution already as well.  Please please contact me if you or you know anyone who might be interested in this guy.

Another Kitten to add to the mix

This little one was caught today seems to be about 6-7 weeks old.  Very friendly but a little scared. She's going to the vet tomorrow to get checked out and her first round of vaccinations. She's already taken her deworming medicine and her flea medicine as well.  She might find a home sooner then the others because she's such a tiny little thing.

Bathtime at Casa Del Craven

Today was bathtime. It was like watching the Deadliest Catch.  As each kitten was plucked from behind a table, on top of the fridge or behind the carrier, they were all taken to the sink and washed with Dawn. I have to say, Debby did a great job making sure all the fleas were gone and was only scratched once by Frankie, the short haired grey & white kitten.  Johnny was the first victim but handled it like a Cat.

He seems to be taking a Kung Fu type stance here incase anyone else wants to mess with him.  I missed the Frankie photo so it will be posted at a later date as it's on another camera.  Babies are now ready for a new home.

Kittens Getting Adjusted to Indoors

Here is a pic of the kittens before they were caught and brought indoors.

Now..here is a picture of the kittens indoors and in kitten play area all their own filled with toys and lots of space.

Now..here's a photo of a kitten who not only jumped a barrier keeping them out of the kitchen, but also managed to climb to the top of the fridge and peek out behind a box.

You can barely make out a face peeking behind the box next to the sugar.  Evil geniuses I tell you.

Heeeere's Johnny! This is also on top of the fridge. I moved the box of cereal and presto...little johnny peeking out wondering how I found him.
